'up for air' is an exploratory artwork combining ceramic sculpture, resin & 3d resin effect. My explorations through this process opened a whole new elemental dimension of non traditional design in ceramic sculpture. As a diver and underwater photographer this recent piece is inspired by my experience swimming with turtles and my 1000's of reference photos . The perspective of this piece is viewed through a underwater camera with a wide angle lens at the surface.

Perennially inspired by the magical world of the beautiful creatures below the waters surface. I take joy in reinterpreting these connections, reinventing and experimenting. I enjoy upsetting the traditional expectations with experiments in beauty both natural and fantastical.
