About the Artwork

Purple fields of lavender grow in abundance in my hometown, Telenesti, Moldova. This lavender field, the blonde girl in a white dress who carries a big bouquet of lavender, brings me back home to my family. This painting captures the luscious colors and recalls a warm summer saturated with sweet floral scent and a nostalgic childhood.
