About the Artwork
The textural ripples in the river reflect the golds and blues of the sky along the Coquitlam River. I used acrylic gloss gel to enhance the ripples in the water and painted it in glazes so you could look through the river to the rocks below. The trees are painted with creative swirls that you will notice up close.
