About the Artwork

Jurying item #2: This piece is inspired by a walk on the Riverview Hospital grounds where it is free for the public to walk around and view the multitude of different tree specimens that were planted there over 100 years ago by botanist Dr. Davidson . To show the feeling of being surrounded by the red glow of the fallen autumn leaves I chose to do this piece on textured board with multiple layers of colour.
