Created on a stormy spring morning, this piece captures the raw, energetic rhythm of a sky in flux. I applied paint with a palette knife and silicone shaper, layering streaks and swirls that mirror the tension and movement of clouds pushed by wind and light. Flashes of bright yellow and cerise pierce through muted greys and blacks, evoking the unpredictable bursts of sunlight that can transform a stormy sky in an instant.

My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises. I learn something new about myself with each new piece.
"I am unapologetic in my use of colour. The world is a bright, beautiful place and I want to express this in my work."
