Rounded, jewel-like forms drift across a shifting ground of blue and dusty rose, each one lit from within. There is a tenderness to their arrangement, unhurried and a little tentative. The painting feels to me like the earliest part of spring, before it has fully committed, when everything is just beginning to stir.

My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises. I learn something new about myself with each new piece.
"I am unapologetic in my use of colour. The world is a bright, beautiful place and I want to express this in my work."
