Recent discovery of a supermassive black hole somewhere out there 27,000 light years away at our galaxy’s centre inspired this galactic black hole painting created especially for the Abstracted Exhibition. The first black hole fantasy I ever painted was in a 2019 Art Battle live painting competition upon news of astronomers’ discovery of a black hole earlier that year. From time to time I enjoy letting my imagination run wild painting imaginary outer-space images of a galactic world that we can only imagine.
