My abstract was recently inspired just remembering this particular Beethoven piece, Pathetique #8, also known and popularized in our day as Midnight Blue—one of my favourite classical music pieces. Several glazes of various blues are painted equally with brushes and palette knives; this painting’s deep edges are a solid deep blue and the entire artwork has a protective varnish.
