Like the three wise monkeys, I would like to believe I live in a world free of evil. I do worry though that our actions or lack of them, are seriously degrading the planet we live on. The interconnected nature of all life is a reality that we cannot ignore. As the climate becomes more unpredictable we wonder what is going on. It seems we are approaching a tipping point from which we have no way of knowing the consequences.
My painting portrays a scenario made possible by our lack of taking responsibility for our self centred pleasure seeking actions.
