It was intoxicating at the time, but now it’s becoming a faded memory. We visited several museums and galleries while vacationing in parts of France and Italy recently. I saw some artifacts and paintings that I’ve only heard about or seen in a book before. The images may be fading from my mind, but that feeling of being in awe will always be with me.

My paintings are observations of moments in my life, broken down in colours, texture, shapes, gestures, lines, and text. They invite you in to be curious, and to respond with your own interpretations of what the work is about.
