This drawing was inspired by my own life challenges. As humans, we all face moments in our lives that can challenge us beyond what we can bear. Sometimes that challenge is too much and may cause us to give up. But often, we somehow find the strength to carry on. I wanted to question that defining moment in time when instead of giving up, one suddenly resolves to metaphorically swim and survive the challenge and not sink, or give up because of it. And so the name of the piece is "The Defining Moment".
