This was the view from my childhood home of Hudson Bay Mountain in Smithers, BC. We hiked it, skied it, and gazed at it in all seasons, but this view of the mountain in Spring is the best, the lush green valley with the backdrop of the mountain still covered in snow. We used to go for Sunday drives to find the best vantage point for photos, and this may be it.

"I have been an artist since I was a child and can’t imagine my life without painting. My favourite subjects to paint are landscape and wildlife so it’s amazing to be able to paint what I see around me every day."
