Last year we visited the Tofino area of Vancouver Island and spent hours every day walking the stunning beaches. As beautiful as the ocean is, I am always drawn to the trees and the land and the interplay of light and shadow on them. I feel grounded and at home there.

Sheila Van Delft is a visual artist who paints landscape and wildlife with sensitivity and thoughtfulness and hopes to bring a little of the wilds into the homes of her collectors. Her images include a wide variety of subjects such as mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and BC birds and wildlife.
"I have been an artist since I was a child and can’t imagine my life without painting. My favourite subjects to paint are landscape and wildlife so it’s amazing to be able to paint what I see around me every day."
