About the Artwork
This work captures a young Buddhist Apprentice on his way to the temple, which I painted following a Himalaya trek. As a father of two boys, I was captivated by his dedication and the difference in cultural upbringings with the western world as illustrated, and the incredible contrast of colours the image created.
