About the Artwork

The whole painting was conceptualized. The oil painting features a chinese vase of lush peonies in soft pinks and whites. Two chickadees flit here and there to observe the bird design that adorns the vase, blending seamlessly into the classic, elegant composition.

Roger Jang

Vancouver, British Columbia

Roger Jang is a retired Vancouver-based realist painter with 30 years of experience as an Art Director and Graphic Designer. His work spans portraits, landscapes, and still life, ranging from realistic to expressive styles. Though he experiments with various mediums, he prefers oil painting and aims to continue evolving.

""After over 30 years of shaping pixels, it's a true joy to return to the simplicity of paint and paper—creating art not for hire, but for the pure, unfiltered pleasure of the craft.""
