In all of my travels across the world, there are just those certain places where it seems they elicit a love affair that leaves a mark. Nestled in the French Riviera, Cap D’Ail was an incredible discovery while navigating my way through the coastal cities in the South of France. There was a stillness and meditative calm that resonated with me. As with all of my paintings, I am drawn to places, scenes, moments that inspire stillness and quiet focus. My paintings take me on a journey as I paint them bringing me back to a place inside myself.
