Peri-Laine is a retired public school teacher and art educator. After teaching for thirty-five years in the public school system, she now spends her time in her home studio as well as presenting demos and workshops and teaching art classes to adults in the community.
"I work in a variety of mediums depending on the subject and my current mood. I love the colours, shapes, patterns and textures in nature, which are frequently represented in my work. Weather permitting, I enjoy working in plein air, usually with watercolour and ink, gouache or pastels."
