About the Artwork
I came across the title of this painting when reading about the story of the Laughing Buddha , which seemed eminently appealing as a way to look at life. I had also seen a beautiful broken blind in my travels, and the composition was devised. I roughed in out in acrylic and then did the painting in oil and oil stick.
