Photo is a collage simply because it is impossible to photograph multi layered resin paintings at the best of times. During a pandemic, there is not a chance that I would risk going to a photographer’s studio. This painting is a tribute to my visit to a remote part of India where Leopards, Wild Boar, and Lions abound. It was so overwhelming to be amongst such wildlife, jungle terrain, ancient ruins and Temples, that it was difficult to take it all in. When I returned to Canada I wanted to capture that feeling. The “overload” is intentional.
