In September 2019 I was challenged to paint “a view” in front of a “live crowd, in less than 5 minutes. I felt like shrinking under the table, but instead, I took a deep breath and told myself to, “stand tall”. I completed this painting in under 4 minutes. We often perform well under pressure simply because we don’t overthink.
