About the Artwork
This piece was created in response to a creative challenge to visually represent the word "ethereal". I tried to capture the shell's internal luminescence and the subtle aqua, lavender and rose tones that are characteristic of mother-of-pearl. The piece is professionally framed with reflection control glass.
