About the Artwork
This technique aims to represent the subject among its surrounding as a holistic complete scene. I’m constantly looking for the shapes and forms, and for the light and dark, with which I can bring harmony into a painting. In this painting the sunlight and shadow become part of the subject and the theme, and show how light can transform the ambience of a setting.
