This painting was born of spring walks when the city felt softened by the blossom light and reflections in the water. I wanted the two geese to carry a sense of partnership, quiet, loyal, and calm, standing together beneath branches that seem to bless the season. The harbour, soft sky, and pale pink bloom create a space between reality and memory. For me, this work is about renewal and closeness: those gentle moments when the world feels briefly kinder, and even familiar places become full of grace.

I am an artist residing in Vancouver, though my roots lie in the culturally rich region of Crimea. My creative practice seamlessly merges surrealism, symbolism, and philosophical inquiry, enabling me to explore complex themes. The breathtaking landscape of my childhood has profoundly shaped my artistic vision.
"My works are meditations on how the soul emerges through reflection, and how art fosters empathy by mirroring our most sacred internal experiences. I believe that artists are not only creators of images but also translators of cultural emotion."
