One of the joys of painting, for me, is the intuitive marriage of elements to create a unique and brand-new world that then becomes timeless. I have a deep appreciation for the world created in “These My People,” but I must also admit that my husband and I think of it as “Our Lady of the Penguins.” Shh, don’t tell!
