In the storms of life it is hard to find perspective, to find hope in the horizon. It's at this time that we realize our foundation is what grounds us, what allows us to keep standing. Taking a page from JMW Turner's book, I blurred the horizon to create a feeling of the unknown. Using fire to create water, I guided my torch to emulate the wild waves and a feeling of depth. Look closely and you can see the solid rock the tree clings to. What is your firm foundation in the storms of life?
