Womankind symbolizes the strength I wanted to feel when | was enduring a painful divorce. I sculpted her as therapy wanting to become a stronger woman and stand tall like her regardless of her apparent rugged edges and missing pieces I too felt.
Many years later I managed to raise my children and here I stand . . . strong, like a rock.

""Rock is my medium of choice because you have one chance to it carve it right, just like you have one life to live."
"The more challenging a piece is, the more satisfying it is to complete. The physical demands reward me with a cathartic therapeutic release." ***"
