A distortion of perspective. As I'm visually impaired (legally blind), I see things a bit differently. Shapes, values and contrasts are significant for me; but, isn't that how we all see? The distortion of perspective in this piece takes the reflection of a building in another building, an analogy for how people see me sometimes. They see me then notice the nystagmus, thick glasses, head movements and perceive a "distorted reflection " of me and are confused or make presumptions. By pumping up the colours I've exaggerated the perception of the structures as well.
