The beautiful matched team of Strawberry Roan mares are keen to put on a demonstration of their talents during a competition at the Bar U Historical Ranch in Longview, Alberta. Bar U Ranch holds this annual workhorse competition to celebrate the legacy of the working horses, teams and handlers who were an integral part of the history of the ranching and farming settlements of early Alberta.
