About the Artwork
The underside of a purple clematis flower, with the light streaming through the petals, revealing the structure of the flower. The deep purple on the front of the petals is just sparingly revealed, teasing the viewer to imagine what the artist has chosen not to fully reveal. Forcing the viewer to see the flower in a different way nudges the consciousness to awaken to new possibilities.
