About the Artwork
The west coast often presents complex skies of several cloud formations. This one combines lower denser clouds that are stratus in the foreground. The are just on the verge of bursting into rain. The background cumulus clouds are coming forward and already bringing rain. The rich sunlight just picks up a few shards of the rain shower. This is based on trips to Victoria, BC.
