One day in September 2021, driving from Victoria, B.C. and stopping at a restaurant at Port Renfrew for lunch, I saw this tranquil scenery which was virtually just doorsteps away from our lunch stop.

Margaret Chow-Loo, a retired CPA, CGA as of 2019, started painting in 2020. She is a self-taught artist in acrylic painting. She has painted different subjects, including various landscapes and seascapes of B.C. and Washington State. She is an active member of the FCA as of January 2023.
"As a visual artist, when you see beauty in nature or anything, it is worth capturing it with paint and canvas. It is my hope that the viewer of my painting will experience such beauty and a sense of calm and joy in the painting."
