I am not usually intrigued by abstract things…I prefer realism and a sense of order. This painting was inspired by the paint that remains in the bottom of the mug I use to keep my brushes wet while painting. I was surprised by the beauty of the randomness of the strokes; wherever the paint dipped brushes landed. I can remember all of the colors from paintings past.
