Upstream
Against all odds Sockeye Salmon return to the Adams River where they were born four years before. They return from the northern Pacific Ocean to procreate in the river they were born and shortly after they die. Sockeye Salmon are strong, tenacious fish; whom swim past fishing boats, fish farms, large cities, past many predators and the lucky few make it to their final destination. Those that do, spend the final two weeks of the journey swimming upstream without eating and if they are fortunate they procreate continuing the life cycle of Sockeye Salmon. Sockeye salmon are heroic in their desire to persevere and continue the life cycle of their species.
