It takes three litres of water to produce one litre of bottled water. Tens of billions of dollars are spent annually in the USA on bottled water. Most of those bottles are filled from taps that are carrying water of less quality than most municipal supplies in Canada offer. While they are a necessity at times, bottled water is used far too often these days . The disposal and even the recycling of the plastic involved uses valuable resources . I hope this image brings awareness to those who have not previously been thoughtful about the consumption of bottled water.
