On a perfect September afternoon, I headed to Lake Louise - hiking the Plain of the Six Glaciers trail and stopping at the main viewing area on the way back. The scene that was in front of me took my breathe away - the light, the colour of the water, the crispness of the sky - I stopped and did some watercolour sketches to capture the moment. This is the resulting painting.
