Following a trail we crossed a rocky stream, first stopping to take in the view of the Rocky Mountains we would be hiking to the next morning. Filled with awe at the landscape beyond and nature’s beauty at my feet, I was compelled to paint my experience of this back home in my studio.
Painted in oil on deckled oil paper, matted and framed, the mystery of ‘That Evening Hike in Yoho’ will soothe and uplift for many years.
