Rural Patchwork (8x8, oil on canvas) was inspired by a flight over Canada. Looking out the window, I was struck by how the farmland below looked like a quilt—each field its own little patch of colour and texture. The way the clouds floated low over the land added a dreamy feel that I wanted to capture in paint. This piece is all about that quiet moment of wonder when you're up in the sky, taking it all in from above.

"I strive to live in the-moment, find beauty in the storm, take chances, dream big, make mistakes, dust myself off, and abide by the law of attraction; you are what you think so why not think up a big, beautiful landscape!"
