Redhorse Lake was inspired by a view from our campsite in North Frontenac. This piece was painted en plein air, quickly and with an emphasis on 'feeling' over a more 'realistic' view. I pushed my paints to work quickly with lots of movement as the trees almost appeared to dance. The sun was shining brightly, highlighting areas of the trees and land with a beautiful contract of light and shadow.

"I strive to live in the-moment, find beauty in the storm, take chances, dream big, make mistakes, dust myself off, and abide by the law of attraction; you are what you think so why not think up a big, beautiful landscape!"
