About the Artwork
“Red Kayak” was inspired by a glimpse of a lone paddler cutting through the Grand River, spotted from the bridge in Cayuga, ON. The striking red against the earthy water below caught my eye—it was a fleeting moment of movement, calm, and connection with nature.
