About the Artwork
This is an eight-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, each colour carved and printed separately, by hand, from a single block of battleship grey linoleum, and then printed manually on a hand operated etching press.
The image is inspired by the view from my studio window, during the last days of winter in the central Kootenay region of British Columbia.
