About the Artwork
A nine-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, each colour carved and printed separately, by hand, from a single block of battleship grey linoleum, and then printed manually on a hand operated etching press.
The inspiration for the image comes from the woodland, in early spring, surrounding my home in the Kootenay region of British Columbia.
