There are a cluster of tidepools at the shore near where I live. Peering in, I am mesmerized by the tiny world of swirling bubbles, algae and sea creatures as they inhabit their temporary place in the world. In their simplicity, they remind me how water is the precious center of life. As an abstract expressionist, I capture the feeling of what I see through expressive strokes, textures and layers in a hope to capture the viewer’s imagination.
