About the Artwork
This piece, painted with a variety of tools including a tree branch, captures the beautiful shapes and forms of the eucalyptus tree. It has movement, depth and texture that are both modern and organic. The patina is rich from many layers of underpaintings, much like the layers of tree bark that attest to the seasons it has endured.
