I painted this on a day that I was longing for the lush blues and greens of wet Vancouver after weeks of dry days and smoky skies. I closed my eyes and listened for the sound of gentle rain as it tickles the leaves above and the moss below. The painting has a dreamlike quality and is also a bit ominous as we are reminded of the changes to our climate and what we stand to lose.
