Sisters it is unconditional love but also a never-ending battle. This portrait represents the sisterhood. As a parent, I am the referee. We all have a moment of this situation where you are fighting but you still love each other as siblings. And it never ends but only gets deeper and more complicated as we grow older.
The challenge to paint this portrait was how I capture their constant movement in my painting.
The little one’s feet and left hand were a bit blurry. As you know babies never stop moving. It is a moment of life as well. Life is constantly moving, it gets blurry or forgotten. That’s how we move on.
