When words fail, art speaks — and in Remembered Bluebells, the story is told through layers of mono printed texture, acrylic and memory.
Two decades after leaving the UK for Canada one of my abiding memories when spring comes around is the quiet joy of walking through bluebell woods with my children. This painting is not a literal place, but an imagined return, built through hand printed papers allowing the story to be seen even when it can’t be fully told. I hope it speaks to you as the memory speaks to me.

Acrylic is my primary medium, but my work is constantly evolving as I explore new and exciting techniques. Lately, I’ve been drawn to mono-printing and layering papers into my paintings—inviting curiosity and sparking conversation.
I hope you enjoy the journey through my art!
