Hi, I’m Julie McDowell—artist and designer.
Originally from the UK, I earned my Fine Art degree as a mature student at Lancaster University. Now based in the beautiful Pacific Southwest of Canada, I continue to grow my creative practice.

Acrylic is my primary medium, but my work is constantly evolving as I explore new and exciting techniques. Lately, I’ve been drawn to mono-printing and layering papers into my paintings—creating textured, multi-layered pieces that invite curiosity and spark conversation.
