Rathtrevor Beach is a favourite place for walking and feeling inspired. One day last September, I spoke with these lovely folks whose sailboat had washed ashore in the storm of the previous day. They mentioned that they hoped to float the sailboat on the next high tide. They graciously allowed me to take photographs and this painting evolved from those images.
