About the Artwork
This painting shows the herd that ranges in the Canal Flats BC area. I photographed and visited them repeatedly. The Big Horned Sheep behaved as though they were uses to human admiration and were barely skittish. It felt like ‘a gift’ to be able to be close to the herd in the beautiful Rocky Mountain Habitat.
