About the Artwork
An etching with aquatint for half-tones on copper plate (1989).
This image together with "The clan house II" were works I have done almost 30 years ago. These houses were built in old villages where the members of big families gathered to celebrate New Year days and other festivals. The clan houses were surrounded with tall trees that provided protections for the entire village.
